The decentralization ethos nurtures and defines its community, as shown by hosting its main conference in this corner of the world, and opens the door to communities regardless of their location or area of expertise. In this talk, I'll go through the impact of Ethereum in Argentina and vice-versa, and reflect on ten years of this movement that transcends technology by uniting developers, artists, economists, and dreamers. As Devconnect lands in Buenos Aires, we'll explore how this gathering can bridge the local and global, and how can we all make the most of this week together to plan for the next years.

Devconnect is a week-long gathering of the Ethereum community with events for developers, researchers, artists and creators. It’s organized by the Ethereum Foundation and took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina in Nov 2025, with ~20,000 attendees.
